Bailey Aortic Rongeur is a highly versatile instrument for use in cardiothoracic surgery. This uniquely shaped rongeur features ring handles and a shaft that ends in a 3 mm bite jaw. It can be used for removal of small material from the aorta and aortic valve such as calcifications in stenotic patients. Additionally, it can be utilized for plaque removal from other peripheral regions where there is stenosis. This instrument is available in two styles: straight and angled down.
